With this compact, 36-in. wide-format inkjet printer, you can make full-color CAD drawings, GIS maps, posters, and office presentations on everyday bond papers plus outdoor posters, signs, and displays on polypropylene film, self-adhesive vinyl, or other water-resistant materials. Canon designed the TM-305 printer for wireless printing in settings such as: architecture, engineering, and construction firms, retail stores, restaurants, schools, libraries, and offices. Unlike previous-generation imagePROGRAF technical printers, the TM-305 uses five colors of LUCIA TD water-resistant pigment inks. It is also about 60 percent quieter for less distraction in busy offices. Plus, the TM 305 is faster at producing multi-page PDFs and sets of documents. The TM-305 features a flat stacking basket, a 500 GB hard drive, and the ability to print PDF and JPEG files directly from a thumb drive. Robust security features include Secure Disk Erase, which conforms to United States Department of Defense standards (DoD5220.00-M) as well as IPSec support, SSL/TLS and 802.1x authentication. To reduce ink costs, you can use a mix of 130 ml and 300 ml ink tanks. Software includes PosterArtist Lite for Windows, Direct Print & Share, Easy Photo Print Editor, Free Layout Plus, and Accounting Manager.
